Meet the 2nd Annual Vieyra Brown Curiel Music Scholarship Winner!

We are incredibly excited to announce the 2nd Annual Vieyra Brown Curiel Music Scholarship Winner, Jessica Perez!

Miss Perez is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Music Education at Wichita State University. She grew up in Mexico and moved to the United States after High School. She teaches Voice and Piano at a Damm School of Music. She performs at Plymouth Congregational Church as a choral and solo singer. Miss Perez has been performing in Wichita with local ensembles and companies since 2014. She has sung with Wichita Grand Opera and has been involved in numerous Opera and Musical Theatre productions at WSU. 

Jessica is proud of her two brothers that study and work hard, she is also grateful for her parents that taught her how to be kind.  Miss Perez wants to thank her teachers for their tireless dedication. 

Miss Perez will be a featured performer at the upcoming Vieyra Brown Curiel Scholarship Benefit Show to take place this September. Look out for more details about the show and please join us in saying congratulations to Jessica!
