Stephanie Gomez is a Sophomore at Kansas Wesleyan University studying Music Education. She is a Classical Vocalist and has played the flute for nine years. At KWU she is involved in the Pep Band, Wind Ensemble, Philharmonic Choir, and the prestigious Kansas Wesleyan Chorale. In addition to her performance groups, she has also appeared in several musicals including a leading role in KWU’s production of Hansel and Gretel. With the support of The Vieyra Foundation for the Arts, she was able to afford the tuition to KWU and continue her education. In addition, Stephanie appeared at the 2nd Annual Scholarship Show and gave an incredible performance on the flute.
