Welcome to The Vieyra Foundation for the Arts website! We are so excited to launch this non profit organization to benefit artists.
Our first project is The Vieyra-Brown-Curiel Music Scholarship. The VBC Family Band will perform their annual summer show this August, but this year the show will be our first ever benefit show. In partnership with The Rusty Needle Sports Bar and Lounge in Hutchinson, Kansas, entry to the show will be by donation and all proceeds will benefit the scholarship. If you are interested in being the recipient of The Vieyra-Brown-Curiel Music Scholarship, the application is now open and we would love to have you apply! And please look out for the announcement for the date of the benefit show.
The Vieyra-Brown-Curiel Music Scholarship is only the beginning. We have many incredible things planned for The Vieyra Foundation for the Arts including music and dance festivals, a studio providing cost assistance for lessons and recording, additional scholarships, and so much more. #supportthearts
